VERSUS CHRONICLES

DIGITAL MINI ORIGINS EDITIONS
CYBERPUNK/FANTASY HORROR HARDCOVERS
THE GRID - FULL NOVELLA This story is quite original. Even though I say I have many influences from many cyberpunk movies it still comes off like nothing out there. Everything is influenced by something else on some level. So in this story we have all 20 digital chapters compiled into one stylish hardcover novella spanning 123 pages. The story starts with the digital mini edition where the scientist gets lost in the desert and finds out what haunts lurk there in the heart of the badlands. From there a covert, clandestine special forces team takes over and looks for him. Since they're privately funded they can afford equipment nobody has ever seen. Their work is top secret. Nobody knows they exist. Their role as rescuers gets turned upside down when "sand pirates" take the town over. They run into the desert, which is what they want. Only 1 will make it out alive. But what waits for him is something much more insane. He learns what evil the sand pirates led him to on purpose. A city appears out of nowhere like a mirage. The temptation and allure is too much to bare. He goes for it at the cost of his physical body. As he enters the "grid" a digital version of him is made and running instantaneously. This new version of him doesn't know of his former life. He's a rather bad version of him, like the devil on your shoulder. Within this grid lies a virtual world, a mega city. The borders of the desert fade out leaving only a view of the futuristic city before him. From there he meets a cute friend that saves him and they become partners in crime to take down the dreaded cyborg forces within that want out of this virtual realm. This leads to a full blown revolution and a war of 6 armies. Will they make it out alive? Will they be human? Find out for yourself why this story is like nothing else...

CURRENTLY WRITING MY NEXT STORY...
My first two stories are digital editions. It's the cyberpunk thing to do! Now if you haven't read all the chapters of the first novella hardcover you can still read the 2 digital only origin stories. They explain how the stories start. To me novellas are an art form and not just for teens. The digital stories are cool too. People like them because they're quick reads...

The first idea was FIRE N' ICE. After that came THE GRID, but I released THE GRID first in hardcover. Instead of the conventional novel I've decided to make novels rather by compiling novellas. So if I have a sequel (THE GRID 2 for example) then the two of them together will make a novel. That way I can split full novels into novellas for my own styling. In the underground scene there are a lot of talented horror writers, in particular, that write novellas. This medium is good as it allows entries into magazines and contests. My writing is different than the standard novel, as the detail doesn't feel the need to ramble on, yet there's enough going on in one of my novellas to be made into a novel. They say novellas are easier to adapt into movies. I like to think of my writing as "express fiction" since it's so fast paced. I focus primarily on the post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk genre. Call it "industrial strength fiction". My next book is gonna kick serious ass! Then the first two become one book later. The die-hards will like the digital chapters to test the waters. When you're ready dive in...
